I Was Tagged...

Tagged by constant_spiral on 20 random things about myself:

1. I'm the oldest of 5 kids. 2 brothers and 2 sisters (I'm 31 and my youngest sibling Stephanie just turned 21).
2. I was born in Mountain View, CA and have lived in a 20 mile radius ever since (except 1 year in Santa Cruz, but that was still within 40 miles).
3. I HATE bellpeppers. Yuck!
4. My pet peeves are flaking without calling first, not cleaning up after yourself, not respecting my stuff - borrowing or using things without asking first and not returning them in the shape it was in when you borrowed it, being fake, being cocky, lying....
5. I took piano lessons for years, but always wanted to learn how to play the quitar (it's a lot more portable). I have one, but it's collecting dust.
6. I used to be on the diving and tennis teams in high school before I gained my overly voluptuous figure.
7. I've had a crush on Johnny Depp since 21 Jump Street.
8. If I could afford to eat sushi everyday, I probably would. I also have an addiction to cheese.
9. My greatest interests are psychology and art. I love getting to know people and what makes them tick and I love art and anything creative. I love to draw and paint, but haven't done either in awhile.
10. My dream home would be a tudor style cottage right on the beach with my fine husband and my nieces and nephews visiting often. =)
11. I rarely wear makeup because my mom is a Tammy Faye look-alike (no kidding either). Need proof? Here she is in all her glory (I LOVE YOU MOM!)

12. I've worked at the same job at NASA for 8 years, but don't have a clue about science or the space program.
13. I love reading novels...the more drama the better. I'm also an avid reader of People and US magazines.
14. I turned from party girl to Christian in the past year, but have stayed true to myself and my personality. I don't like the stereotypes or stigma that's been associated with Christians (though I can see where a lot of that comes from). I have come to conclusion that if you don't like me cause I'm a bible totin' Jesus freak and I enjoy cultivating my spirituality and my relationship with God, then that's your problem.
15. I've broken both my ankles within seconds of each other (3 hairline fractures in one and 2 in the other).
16. My most embarrassing moment was in my high school freshman math class where I had a sudden uncontrollable laugh fit, I got up to leave the room to calm down, tripped over my backpack strap, fell to my face, laughed even harder and proceeded to pee my pants. I ended up crawling out of the classroom on my hands and knees because I was laughing so hard, I was too weak to stand up. 15 years later, people still laugh at that to this day.
17. My parents met on a blind date, talked on the phone 3 days later and by the end of their conversation they were engaged. They eloped in Reno and have now been married 36 years.
18. I love camping and the outdoors, but I never do it.
19. I can do the splits (if I really stretch, I can even hyperextend). I'm very flexible.
20. In my lifetime I have owned...2 rats, 2 iguanas, 1 gecko, 1 cat, a bunch of goldfish, and 2 dogs (I have developed horrible allergies to rats and cats, but dogs ended up to be my favorite).
